The FYLPRO COVID-19 Task Force was created as a response to the global pandemic that has affected thousands of Filipino communities and claimed hundreds of thousands of lives. The Caretaker Project is the collective effort of Filipino Young Leaders all around the world.
Enter “Tayo”. This project is a virtual help desk designed to connect with Filipinos in the community for all their COVID-19 needs. It is funded by the Booz Allen Foundation Innovation Grant.
And we’re calling for help.
We are at the pilot phase of Tayo and are looking for those who are wanting to volunteer in various roles of research, community engagement, and outreach. Due to the level of sensitivity of the work, we have a “come as you are, leave as you please” policy out of respect of every individual’s mental health and well being during these difficult times.
